Simple checks.
Clearer answers.
SiteReachLab is an independent tool for anyone wondering whether a website is responding. We focus on easy-to-understand results rather than technical jargon.
What happens when you run a check?
Our server resolves the public domain and sends a standard web request to its homepage. We show the HTTP response code, approximate response time, and a plain-English explanation. If a response has just been checked, the tool may show a cached result for up to 45 seconds to reduce repeated traffic.
What does the result actually prove?
A successful response shows that the website replied to our server at that time. It does not prove that everyone worldwide can reach it. Equally, a failed request does not prove a global outage: DNS problems, firewalls, geo-blocking, rate limits and temporary network faults can influence results.
What we don't do
We do not perform continuous monitoring, check private IP addresses, access password-protected content, or claim multi-region coverage. We test the hostname's homepage, not the full path or query string pasted into the input.
